IXCEL through its Socio Economic Enterprise Creation (SEEC) fund actively invests in early stages, growth driven impact ventures based on a unique support based investment model. We occasionally jointly run such enterprises. Currently IXCEL has investments in Green Energy, Education Technology, Retail, AI/Education , Defence Tech Textiles and Art sectors
Social Value is created when resources and processes are combined to generate improvements in the lives of individuals or society as a whole. Our main objective is to invest in commercially viable social value enterprises which uses technology, finance and energy to improve environment and lives of individuals.
The fund may provide up to 100% (although preference will be a smaller proportion) of the capital in investment below certain threshold. Our preference is for early cash generating business and it is essential they agree to our support based model allowing us strategic and operational advisor role in their business.
While each investment case is different, IXCEL Socio Economic Fund strongly believes in transparency and management of expectations for all parties concerned to a deal. In that spirit we provide detailed general indicative terms and process followed by the Fund. Link provided the relevant page.
Our unique support based model reviews any company we engage with and understand their strategy and business plan, suggest changes and also removes any costs allocation that is not appropriate. We also provide back office, systems and services support and include those as sweat equity in the business. We do not provide funding to ventures where co founders will be remunerated from the investment funds raised.
